MOVEMENT EXPRESSION

Reconnect to your body. Move in ways that words cannot.

Somatic Movement & Private Dance Lessons

There are moments in life when talking it out is not enough.

The body holds emotion, stress, joy, fear, and creativity in ways the mind cannot always articulate. Movement offers a powerful way to reconnect with yourself, process what is present, and rediscover expression that lives beyond words.

Movement Expression sessions are one-on-one experiences designed to help you reconnect with your body, your energy, and your natural expression. These sessions combine my background in coaching, dance, and somatic awareness to create a space where movement becomes both exploration and release.

Some clients come to improve their dance technique.
Others come because they want to move through something emotional or energetic in a supportive space.

Both are welcome here.

There is no “right” way to move. There is only your way.

2 Ways to Work Together

Structured Dance Lessons:

Refine your movement, technique, and confidence.

For those who want to develop dance technique or reconnect with movement through a more structured approach, these sessions offer personalized instruction tailored to your experience and goals.

Whether you are returning to dance after many years or looking to refine your existing skills, we can work together to strengthen technique, musicality, presence, and expressive confidence.

Possible focus areas include:

• Ballet foundations and technique
• Contemporary or expressive movement
• Posture, alignment, and body awareness
• Musicality and performance presence
• Rebuilding confidence after time away from dance

These sessions meet you exactly where you are. No previous dance experience is required.

Somatic Movement & Free Flow Expression

Process, release, and reconnect through movement.

Sometimes the body knows what needs to move before the mind does.

These sessions create a guided environment for free-form movement, allowing emotions, energy, and experiences to process through the body rather than through analysis or conversation alone.

Through gentle prompts, music, breathwork, and guided awareness, you will explore how your body wants to move, express, and release.

These sessions may support:

• Emotional processing
• Stress and tension release
• Reconnecting with intuition and creativity
• Embodied confidence and self-trust
• Deep presence in your body

There is no choreography. No performance. No expectation.

Just movement, awareness, and space to be.

Why Movement Matters:
Research increasingly shows what dancers and somatic practitioners have known for years:

Movement helps regulate the nervous system, reduce stress, and increase emotional well-being.

Studies in somatic psychology suggest that physical movement can help release stored tension and increase emotional processing capacity. Additionally, research from Harvard Medical School has shown that movement practices improve mood, cognitive function, and overall mental health.

But beyond the research, there is a simple truth:

When you move your body with intention, you reconnect with yourself.

Who These Sessions Are For:

Movement Expression may be a powerful fit for you if:

• You miss dancing and want to reconnect with it
• You want to feel more comfortable in your body
• You process emotions through movement and creativity
• You are navigating a life transition and want a somatic outlet
• You want to explore movement in a safe, supportive environment

No dance experience is necessary. Curiosity is enough.

• Gentle grounding and breathwork
• Guided movement prompts
• Structured technique work
• Free movement exploration
• Reflection and integration

Sessions are typically 60 minutes and can be conducted:

• In person (if local)
• Virtually from the comfort of your own space

My Approach:

Movement has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.

Alongside my work as a coach, facilitator, and trainer, dance has always been one of the ways I connect most deeply to expression, creativity, and healing.

My approach combines:

• Dance training and movement practice
• Coaching presence and emotional attunement
• Somatic awareness and energy processing

This is not about performance.
It is about presence, expression, and connection.

Ready to Move?

If something in you feels curious, pulled, or excited about exploring movement together, I would love to connect.

You don’t need to know exactly what you’re looking for yet.

Just come as you are.
